If you've already explored the skyscrapers and bustling streets of Rio de Janeiro, our Rio de Janeiro National Parks Tour will show you another side of the city. We'll visit a total of 5 different natural areas - let's go!
Rio de Janeiro National Parks Tour
Once we've picked you up from your hotel at the scheduled time, we'll set off on an unforgettable tour of Rio de Janeiro's most important national parks.
To begin, we'll head to the Penhasco Dois Irmãos Park to admire breathtaking views of Ipanema and Leblon's beaches. After exploring this park's nature, we'll make our way to the Tijuca National Park and visit Vista Chinesa, which is one of the most famous viewpoints in Rio.
While we're in Tijuca Park, we'll come across the Taunay Waterfall. Once we've finished taking photos of this waterfall, which is the highest one in the park, we'll walk to Mirante Canoas. From this viewpoint, we'll look out at beautiful views of Pedra da Gávea and Pedra Bonita.
Feeling peckish yet? We'll make a stop where you can grab some lunch at a nearby restaurant. Having re-energised, we'll travel to the Marapendi Park, where endemic animal species such as capibaras await us. We'll also visit the Marapendi Lagoon, where broad-snouted caimans can be spotted.
We'll then travel to the protected area of Prainha, where you can enjoy a relaxing dip in the paradisiacal beaches. Our tour of Rio de Janeiro's national parks will then come to an end with a stop at the Mirante do Roncador, from which you'll see the incredible Sleeping Giant.
After 8 hours and 30 minutes of adventure, we'll finish our tour and drop you off at your hotel.
