Morro Dois Irmãos (4 Hours)
At the designated time, we'll meet in the Vidigal neighborhood. From this district in the south of Rio de Janeiro, we'll head to the famous Morro Dois Irmãos for breathtaking landscapes. The vehicle will drop us off at the foot of the hill, where we'll climb up on foot on an approximately 1-hour hike.
From the top of the hill, you can see an unparalleled panoramic view of the Christ the Redeemer, the beaches of Ipanema and Leblón, Niteroi, the Serra da Carioca and the Cagarras islands. White sand beaches, crystal-clear waters, and the green landscapes of the Atlantic Forest are sure to captivate you.
Our day trip will conclude by boarding the vehicle and returning to the meeting point in the Vidigal neighborhood after approximately 4 hours.
Morro Dois Irmãos + Favela de Vidigal (6 Hours)
On this tour route, we'll follow the same itinerary described earlier. After descending from Morro Dois Irmãos, we'll explore the Vidigal favela on foot.
As we discuss the daily life of this traditional Carioca neighborhood, we'll observe its residents and the unique architecture of their homes.
After a 30-minute walk, we’ll arrive at a viewpoint offering a magnificent view of Pedra da Gávea, a monolith towering over 800 m (2624 ft) high.
We’ll then continue to another viewpoint, where you can enjoy a stunning panorama of the Serra da Carioca, Corcovado, and Pedra Bonita.
