If you want to discover incredible landscapes, you can't miss this tour to Delmiro Gouveia, place of natural beauty in the state of Alagoas.
We'll pick you up at 3 am at your hotel in Maceió, and from there we'll head towards one of the main nature tourism destinations in the state of Alagoas.
First we'll make a brief stop in the area of São José da Tapera, where you can have breakfast on your own. Once you have regained your strength, we'll continue our journey to Delmiro Gouveia, where we'll visit the community of Lameirão, a beautiful natural area that is in the process of becoming an Ecological Park. There we'll embark on a three-hour hike along the Caatinga Trails.
During this 6-kilometer (3.7 miles) hiking route, we'll stop to take pictures and swim in the São Francisco River. Did you know that this river passes through five Brazilian states and more than 500 towns? After this walk we'll return to the community for a delicious lunch that includes a typical dish of Alagoas.
After lunch you'll be able to tour the community on your own. Its inhabitants will show you the traditional activities of Delmiro Gouveia and the agro-ecological products they grow along the Veredas da Caatinga.
Next, we'll go to a wild area in the surroundings of Delmiro Gouveia. In this area we'll see a set of cave paintings that will surprise you with their zoological figures. Will you be able to identify all the animals represented in the caves?
Finally, we'll return to your hotel in Maceió, where we'll arrive at 8 pm.
