On this tour we'll visit Pontal da Barra, one of the most popular neighborhoods in Maceió. In addition, we will take a boat ride on the beautiful Mundaú and Manguaba lakes.
We'll pick you up at 10:30 am at your hotel in Maceió to go to Pontal da Barra, one of the main neighbourhoods of the city.
Located between the Mundaú Lake and the Atlantic Ocean, Pontal da Barra has become one of the most popular districts of Maceió. We'll take a two-hour guided tour of this neighbourhood, strolling through its narrow streets and learning about its handicraft tradition.
After the tour, we'll head to the Pontal da Barra pier to take a boat ride through the Mundaú-Manguaba Lagoon Estuary Complex. This ecosystem, formed by a vast set of rivers and lakes that converge in the Atlantic, is considered one of the most important in Brazil.
During the journey we'll see beautiful landscapes and the native fauna and flora of this ecosystem. Halfway through the route, we'll make a stop for a swim in these waters! We'll sail to the Bica da Pedra complex so you can enjoy its natural pools.
Afterwards, you'll surely work up an appetite, but don't worry, you can enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at the Bica da Pedra restaurant. After lunch, you can stroll around the resort at your leisure.
We'll conclude the tour by returning to your hotel in Maceió at 7 pm.
