At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Santa Marta to begin this trip to the El Saltillo Waterfall. Are you ready to discover the Colombian nature?
After an hour's drive, we'll arrive in Guachaca, a small paradise in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, where our adventure will begin. From here, we'll embark on a hike of about an hour through trails surrounded by lush vegetation.
Our goal will be the impressive El Saltillo Waterfall, a natural spot where you'll have free time to take a dip in its crystal clear waters and relax listening to the sound of the water—a revitalizing experience!
We'll have an hour of free time here to enjoy this unique environment. Afterwards, we'll walk back to Guachaca, where a delicious lunch typical of the region will be waiting for us. Dishes made with local ingredients will give us a taste of the essence of the Colombian coast.
With our stomachs full, we'll continue the activity with a 2-hour guided visit to a passion fruit farm. We'll learn about the process of growing and harvesting this tropical fruit, and discover all the secrets that make passion fruit a superfood. You'll also be able to taste some of its by-products.
Finally, we'll return to Santa Marta, and we'll say goodbye at your hotel after a total of 8 hours.
