Our Private Tours
If you have several days in Santa Marta and want to explore the beauty of its natural landscapes, we recommend booking one of our private tours. Each tour lasts between 4 and 8 hours and includes transportation in a private vehicle and an English-speaking guide. Below, you can see the available options:
San Rafael Farm Tour (4 Hours)
On this tour, after picking you up at your hotel, we'll travel to the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. After about a 45-minute drive, we'll arrive at Minca, a charming village nestled between mountains, rainforest, and low clouds. Upon arrival, you'll change transportation and hop on motorcycles driven by local guides who will take you to Finca San Rafael.
At this hacienda, we'll stroll among coffee and cacao plantations while learning about the process of growing, harvesting, drying, fermenting, and processing both products. We'll also taste freshly brewed coffee and handmade chocolate, made right there, with views of the forest, the Caribbean Sea, and, on clear days, the snow-capped peaks.
After this visit, you'll return by motorcycle to Minca and, from there, board the private transport again to return to your hotel in Santa Marta.
- Schedule: Monday through Sunday at 8 am
Marinka Waterfall + La Victoria Farm Tour (4 Hours)
After picking you up at your hotel, we'll travel to Minca. Once there, you'll hop on motorcycles driven by local guides to explore the region's rural roads.
The first stop will be at Finca La Victoria, one of the oldest coffee plantations in Colombia, founded in 1892 and still in operation. We'll tour its historic facilities, see the original hydroelectric-powered machinery, and, step by step, discover the coffee production process, from harvesting to roasting.
Afterward, we'll continue our journey to the Marinka waterfall, famous for its crystal-clear pools and its natural jungle and mountain surroundings. There, you can take a refreshing dip, relax in giant hammocks, and enjoy the sound of the water falling.
At the end of the tour, you'll return by motorcycle to Minca and then by private transportation to your hotel.
- Schedule: Monday through Sunday at 8 am
