Travel between Spain and Morocco on this trip to Ceuta and Tétouan. We'll go to Africa by ferry to visit these 2 beautiful cities just across the sea. We'll also enjoy a traditional folklore show.
Ceuta and Tétouan Tour
At the time indicated, we'll meet at the meeting point in La Línea de la Concepción to start our tour to Ceuta and Tétouan. In Algeciras Port, we'll take a ferry to the continent of Africa.
We'll sail for an hour across the Strait of Gibraltar and arrive in Ceuta. Here, we'll board a bus to Tétouan. Let's explore Morocco!
Once at our first stop, we'll take a guided tour around Tétouanto learn about its iconic sites. Until what year did this area of Africa belong to Spain? Why is it known as the White City? What important series have been filmed here? All will be revealed.
As we explore, we'll pass by Hassan II Square, where we'll admire the facade of the Royal Palace. We'll also discover the old Jewish neighbourhood and visit the market. Of course, we'll also get lost in the Medina of Tétouan, declared a World Heritage Site. Don't forget your cameras!
Then, we'll enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, whose menu includes 2 dishes, tea and Arabic pastries. In addition, lunch will be accompanied by a typical folklore show. Afterwards, we'll head to a traditional Moroccan pharmacy, where we'll learn about the benefits of Argan oil.
Overall, we'll be in Tétouan for approximately 5 hours. Then, we'll return to Ceuta, where we'll take a scenic tour by bus. From this vehicle, we'll see important monuments, such as the San Felipe Fort and the Royal Walls. We'll discuss the history of this land and analyse its great strategic importance.
All aboard! We'll get on the ferry once again and head back to the Iberian Peninsula after 12 hours of activity, ending the day at the initial meeting point.
