Tour Details
To get this guided tour underway, we'll meet first at Plaza Ramón Arqués before exploring Borjas Blancas.
We'll begin with our first stop to admire the exterior chapel wall that belonged to a medieval hospital, before walking over to Plaza 1 de Octubre where the old Town Hall was originally located.
Next, we'll take a stroll through Terrall Park, to arrive at our second stop along the tour, Espai Macià. This unique interpretative center offers an in-depth view into one of the most famous political figures in Catalunya's history.
After immersing ourselves in the life of Francesc Macià, we'll visit the Cal Gineret Olive Oil Mill that once served as a shelter during the Spanish Civil War. We'll also have a look at what life was like during the bombings between 1938 and 1939 while touring this historic building completed towards the end of the 19th century.
Before leaving the mill, we'll satiate any hunger built up over this immersive tour, and sample a curated selection of olive oils produced in the very same place!
You're sure to be an olive oil expert at the end of this hour-and-a-half tour of Borjas Blancas. We'll part ways after returning to the starting point of the tour.
