Feel like an authentic South Korean on your trip to Seoul when you rent a traditional Hanbok costume.
Rent a Hanbok in Seoul
Immerse yourself in the ancient culture of South Korea and enjoy your stay in Seoul in a unique way when you rent a Hanbok - the traditional dress of the country. Furthermore, many of the landmarks around the capital offer free entry to people who come dressed in a Hanbok, making this a great way for you to save money too!
There are two types of hanbok for ladies and for gentlemen. The one for ladies consists of a blouse, a long skirt, and suspenders. The gentleman's costume is similar, except that in place of a skirt, they wear loose trousers called baji. In both cases, the colors are usually bright and intense.
At the rental shop, you can choose the Hanbok that you like the best, along with the accessories that appeal to you the most (a traditional belt, a flower headdress or hat, a parasol, a handbag, etc.). You'll also have the opportunity to try on two different costumes to see which feels and looks best for you. The available sizes range from XXS through to XXXL, so everybody has the chance to feel like a true South Korean.
Collection times
You can pick up your traditional Hanbok costume any day of the year from 9:30 am to 7 pm. It's closed on Tuesdays.
