Sail the Capibaribe River by catamaran at sunset or night and admire Recife’s landmarks from a unique and unforgettable waterside perspective, discovering its bridges, mangroves, and the fascinating artistic legacy of Francisco Brennand from a different angle. Shall we set sail?
Activity Details
At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Recife and take you to the boarding pier. Once aboard the catamaran, we'll begin a 2-hour cruise along the Capibaribe River, the most emblematic river in Pernambuco.
Our journey will first take us through the Pina basin, where we'll admire the maritime essence of Brasília Teimosa, the oldest fishing community in the area.
From the deck, we'll enjoy an unparalleled panoramic view of Francisco Brennand's Sculpture Park. We'll stop at this open-air museum so that you can admire up close the monumental works of the famous artist that guard the entrance to the port.
We'll continue to Marco Zero, the birthplace of the city, where you will be amazed by its striking architecture from the water. One of the most special moments of the tour will be passing under the century-old bridges in the center of Recife. Local tradition says that when passing under these structures, you should make a wish so that the waters of the Capibaribe will make it come true. Are you up for it?
During the cruise, we'll also sail past the vast mangroves that help oxygenate the city and reach the confluence with the Beberibe River, strategically located behind the Campo de las Princesas Palace.
Finally, after 2 hours aboard the catamaran, we'll return to the pier and transfer you back to your hotel.
