Let yourself be amazed by the majestic Iguazú Falls, one of the most breathtaking natural wonders in South America. You'll set off on your day trip from Posadas and visit the Argentinean side of the falls.
Day Trip Details
At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Posadas and drive to the northernmost tip of the Argentinean province of Misiones. When we get there, we'll find ourselves in the Iguazú National Park, whose famous waterfalls are considered one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.
Our tour of this beautiful, protected area, which will last 5 hours, will start at the central station of the falls. We'll hop aboard the eco-friendly jungle train, which will take us to the waterfalls' numerous pedestrian circuits. As we explore the park, you'll take in the unforgettable scenery around you.
From the main footbridges at Iguazú Falls, we'll admire the waterfalls on the Argentinean side. One of these will stand out for sure! This would be Devil's Throat, which has water that tumbles into the Iguazú River from a height of 262 feet (80 metres) in a unique area next to the Brazilian side of the falls.
On average, the 275 waterfalls at Iguazú Falls reach a volume of 62,012 cubic feet (1,756 cubic metres) per second. The white hue of the rushing water also creates a striking contrast against the lush jungle scenery.
You'll have 1 hour of free time to get some lunch at the waterfall station. We'll then reconvene and take you back to your hotel in Posadas, where we'll drop you off after a total of 12 hours.
