Natural pools and an exuberant landscape await us on this hiking tour to the Rosario Waterfall, one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the state of Goiás.
At the scheduled time, we'll collect you from your hotel in Pirenópolis and make our way north towards the famous hiking trail that will take us into the middle of nature.
Once we've arrived at the trail, we'll begin by hiking around 1.6 kilometres (0.99 miles) at a moderate difficulty that will allow us to discover the great variety of flora and fauna in Goiás. It's this state, in the middle of Brazil, that's so famous for its great biodiversity.
We'll walk the path of stones, that'll bring us to the Rosario Waterfall, one of the oldest waterfalls in Goiás. It's also 42 metres (137 ft.) tall. Amazing, right? After admiring and hearing the sound of the water, we'll head towards the natural pool, where the waterfall's waters end up.
At this beautiful location, we'll make a short stop so that you can take a refreshing dip. Next, we'll grab a bite to eat, from the lunch you'll have brought with you. Don't forget your picnic! After eating, we'll continue walking through the environment around the waterfall to discover other hidden treasures.
Finally, we'll walk back to the start of the trail and from there, we'll make our way to the Pirenópolis. We're expected to arrive back after around 6 hours.
