Gulf of Orosei Trekking Tours

The route of the trekking tour in the Gulf of Orosei will vary depending on the day of the week you choose. All routes start at 8:30 am at Piazza del Popolo in Orosei and end at the same point:

Cala Luna Route (Fridays)

If you choose to do the tour on Friday, we'll focus on the shores of the Gulf of Orosei. In an all-terrain vehicle, we'll travel through this national park until we reach Cala Gonone, the starting point of a four-and-a-half-hour trekking route. Along the way, we'll take in the beautiful Sardinian coastline and admire its high cliffs until we reach Cala Luna, one of the island's most beautiful bays.

Once we arrive at our destination, you'll have two and a half hours of free time to eat your packed lunch and take a refreshing dip. Afterwards, we'll set off again along the Codula di Luna canyon and return to our starting point. We'll arrive back in Orosei around 6:30 pm.

Gorropu Gorge Route (Saturdays)

Want to explore the Gorropu Gorge? If you decide to do the activity on a Saturday, we'll hop in an all-terrain vehicle and head to this famous canyon created by the Flumineddu River, where we'll start a five-hour trekking route. Along the way, we'll discover the local flora and fauna and marvel at this stunning natural landscape considered one of the deepest canyons in Europe.

Before heading back to the starting point, we'll leave you a free hour to rest and refuel. Then, we'll return to Orosei, concluding the activity at 4:30 pm.

Mount Tiscali Route (Sundays)

If you come on a Sunday, we'll travel by jeep to Mount Tiscali to start a four-and-a-half-hour trekking route. We'll walk along this mountain in the Gulf of Orosei admiring the incredible landscapes that it offers us while we go in search of a Nuragic village. We'll talk about the beliefs and way of life of this ancient civilization while we check out their defensive towers and other constructions that are still standing.

Afterwards, you'll have an hour of free time to have lunch surrounded by nature, before returning to Orosei around 3:30 pm.
