Come with us on this sailboat day trip to explore the protected marine area of Favignana and the wonderful scenery of the Aegadian Islands. You can't miss it!
Day Trip Details
We'll pick you up at the designated time at Piazzale Giovan Battista Quinci and hop onto a minibus to Marsala. After a 40-minute drive, we'll hop onto a sailboat to set sail towards Favignana.
As we sail, you'll get to admire the spectacular landscapes in the protected marine area of Favignana, spot its surprising sea caves, and learn about the islets we'll stumble across along the way.
We'll continue following the eastern side of Favignana until we reach some of its marvellous beaches, such as Cala Rossa, Bue Marino, and Cala Azzurra. Additionally, we'll make a stop where you will have the chance to take a dip and swim in the crystal-clear waters.
After swimming, it'll be time to re-energise with a delicious lunch made up of fish, served aboard with views of the beaches and the impressive cliffs that frame this gem of the Mediterranean. The lunch includes a starter, a main course, and dessert, as well as water and wine.
Next, we'll disembark on the island, where you'll have 2 hours of free time to visit Favignana. We recommend exploring the characteristic villages a few minutes away from the port, strolling through the picturesque streets and plazas, tasting local specialities, and relaxing on the beach.
We'll then meet up again to hop onto the boat once more to return to Marsala. Once we're back on dry ground, the captain will offer us an apéritif to end this unique day on a high note.
Lastly, we'll take you back to Mazara del Vallo by minibus, where we'll say our goodbyes after a total of 9 to 10 hours.
