At the designated time, we'll meet at Route des Batailleux, number 3. From this point located next to the Geneva Airport, we'll head toward the Canton of Vaud, in western Switzerland.
We'll drive along the shores of Lake Geneva and after an approximately 1.5-hour journey, reach the Bex salt mines. Here, you'll learn the techniques used to extract salt and visit its underground lakes to admire the chapels and sculptures carved in salt.
After exploring the mines, we'll go to a restaurant where you can grab a bite to eat and try the exquisite cuisine of this area in Switzerland. After lunch, we'll continue our tour of the Canton of Vaud in the Aigle Castle, a stunning 12th-century fortress surrounded by vineyards.
We'll explore its different rooms and stroll through the gardens of Aigle Castle, where you'll take in the magnificent views of the vineyards and mountains surrounding this medieval bastion. You'll be captivated by its history and landscapes!
Finally, from the castle, we'll return to the meeting point in Geneva, where we'll conclude this 10-hour day trip.
