Macuco Safari is an adventure park located in the heart of the Iguazú National Park. During this tour, you'll explore this incredible ecosystem through different activities.
You'll spend 1 hour immersed in the beauty of the Brazilian rainforest as you travel along paths lined with vegetation endemic to this area and discover the paradisiacal corners of Iguaçu. You'll also be accompanied by a guide specialising in the local fauna and flora.
When making a reservation, you can choose between two tour options. Both last 1 hour, include a jungle hike and a boat ride, and feature an English-speaking guide:
If you choose this option, you'll set off on an adventure that'll commence with a 2-mile (3-kilometre) route aboard an electric vehicle into the heart of the rainforest. You'll see tree species such as the flowering Chamaerops, the peroba timber tree and the curupay.
Afterwards, we'll continue on foot for a third of a mile (half a kilometre) until we reach the banks of the Iguazu River. From here, we'll board a boat that'll take us just a few feet away from the Iguaçu Falls. Get ready for a fun boat ride with lots of twists and turns!
This package includes the same itinerary described above: pickup, electric transport through the jungle, a hike, and a speedboat ride, but also includes admission to the Brazilian side of Iguaçu Falls. The most comprehensive option!
We'll pick you up at your hotel at the indicated time. From there, we’ll first stop at the Caseiro Chocolate Handicraft Center. Afterward, we’ll proceed to the park entrance and take a walk along the main trail.
Next up, we'll enjoy lunch at the Cocar restaurant. In the afternoon, you can choose between an electric car ride and a speedboat ride.
You will return to your hotel at approximately 6 pm.
Important: Please note that pickups will only be made at hotels on the Brazilian side, in Foz do Iguaçu.
If you choose the option without transportation, you can enjoy the electric car and speedboat tour on your own at any time between 9 am and 5 pm.
Please note that only the Macuco portion (the car ride and the speedboat tour) is guided.
When booking, you can select a ticket for citizens of MERCOSUR member countries if you're from any of the following places: Brazil, Paraguay, Argentina, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
If you choose the first option, you must purchase a ticket to the Brazilian side of the Iguaçu Falls. If you choose the electric car tour + speedboat ride + entrance to the Falls option, the entrance fee is already included in the price of the activity.
