Get ready to experience the thrill of driving a speedboat through the beautiful waters of Fajardo in Puerto Rico. You'll zip past white sandy beaches and coral reefs at the Arrecifes de la Cordillera Natural Reserve, immersing yourself in the stunning natural beauty of the island.
Drive a Speedboat in Fajardo
We'll meet up at Puerto Chico Marina at the scheduled time to start your thrilling speedboat adventure in Fajardo. Get ready to experience an exhilarating ride through the island's waters, taking in the white sandy beaches and coral reefs of the Arrecifes de la Cordillera Natural Reserve.
Once we've introduced ourselves, we'll do a brief safety training session before you get to drive your own speedboat. You'll have an English-speaking instructor to guide you in the speedboat throughout the entire activity. Our journey will begin by heading north along the Cabezas de San Juan Nature Reserve cliffs, crossing the El Yunque rainforest.
We'll then continue along the Fajardo coast for 30 minutes until we reach Icacos, a deserted island also known as Cayo Icacos or Icaco. You'll fall in love with its white sand and crystal-clear waters. Here, you can snorkel and discover the diverse marine wildlife. After an hour on Icacos, we'll head to the Arrecifes de la Cordillera Natural Reserve, a chain of small uninhabited and protected islands and cays.
The coral reefs and rock formations under the surface of this area make it one of the best places to dive in Puerto Rico. During the ride, you can enjoy snacks and soft drinks from a cooler to keep your energy up.
After spending time in the reserve, we'll begin the return trip to the Fajardo marina after three and a half hours of adventure.
