I really enjoyed this tour. We saw plenty of bird species (tuiuius, macaws, toucans, rheas...), but also hundreds of caimans and some mammals (capybaras, otters, deers, agoutis, coatis...). I assume that your personal experience in this tour depends on your expectations. We did not see jaguars, anteaters or tapirs, but the different landscapes and the other species we could see were definitely worth it :-) I don't upload pictures just not to spoil future visits.

O passeio por Poconé é bom e poderia ser melhor. O horário que entramos no barco para ver os animais foi muito ruim. Entre 14 e 15 horas. O ideal é pela manhã ou fim de tarde. Só vimos jacarés, uma Anta(já indo embora na estrada) os outros bichos são domesticados. Jacaré que tem nome que vem comer peixe, gavião... Tudo acostumado com os barcos. O QUE SALVOU FOI O GUIA, SR. CASSIO. Sabe de tudo sobre a natureza, Educado e bom motorista. Parabéns!!!

The tour of Poconé was good, but it could have been better. The time we boarded the boat to see the animals was very bad, between 2 and 3 pm. Ideally, it should be in the morning or late afternoon. We only saw alligators, a tapir (already leaving on the road), the other animals are domesticated. Alligators that have names that come to eat fish, hawks... All used to the boats. Atividade para quem gosta muito de Imersão na natureza. Tem sol quente, muito mosquito. Mas tem uma interação incrível com o Pantanal, guiado por um guia extremamente experiente e gentil. Great into to the Pantanal! While I wouldn’t do this specific tour again I think it was a good day trip for the most part. With how much the tour costs I would’ve liked to see beverages included but glad lunch was included the food part the drive takes time which is totally understandable and our guide made sure to keep it entertaining with his wealth of knowledge and stopping for every interesting creature of which there were many.
