At the scheduled time, let's rendezvous at the Marina Porto Real dock. Setting our sights south from the Conceição de Jacareí port, we'll board a boat headed to Ilha Grande.
After cruising the Atlantic for about 20 to 30 minutes, we'll hit the dock at Vila do Abraão, Ilha Grande's main spot. Once we hop off, you're free to soak up the vibes of Rio de Janeiro's most famous island at your own pace.
At the island's capital, dive into some snorkeling or enjoy a refreshing dip at heavenly beaches like the renowned Praia da Julia, Praia Comprida, or Praia da Crena.
For those up for an adventure, we highly recommend hiking in some of Ilha Grande's most captivating spots, like Lopes Mendes Bay or Praia dos Rios. You'll even stumble upon a picturesque church during your travels!

Luggage Policy
- Each passenger may board with 1 medium-sized suitcase (dimensions: 67 cm (26.3 in) high, 48 cm (18.8 in) wide and 27 cm (10.6 in) long) or 1 small suitcase (dimensions: 55 cm (21.6 in) high, 40 cm (15.7 in) wide and 25 cm (9.8 in) long) and 1 personal item (a backpack or shoulder bag). Additional suitcases or those that do not comply with the regulations will incur a surcharge of 100BRL per journey.
- If the passenger has excess baggage, they must give 24 hours' notice. If they do not give notice, the driver may or may not authorise boarding, depending on the number of passengers and the space available in the vehicle.
- Special luggage, such as surfboards, baby prams, folding wheelchairs and so on, must be notified in advance, as an additional fee of 100BRL will be charged, subject to availability depending on the size of the item.
- In the case of difficult-to-access accommodations where a support vehicle is necessary, the passenger must accompany the transfer of luggage between vehicles.
- Luggage is the sole responsibility of the passenger.
