Tierra Bomba Day Trip

At 8 am, we'll pick you up from La Bodeguita Pier. When you get to this port in Cartagena de Indias, you'll need to pay a port tax of 5000COP per person.

When you've paid the port tax, we'll set off at 8:30 am on a pleasant boat trip to Tierra Bomba Island. After around 25 minutes at sea, we'll come to the Bocachica dock on the island's southern coast.

Once we're back on dry land, we'll take a guided tour of Fort San Fernando so we can explore Bocachica's main historical remains. We'll go on a 45-minute guided tour of this fortress and learn about how its location was a strategic advantage when defending the island against pirates and invading galleons in the colonial period.

After visiting the fort, we'll go to the Playa Morena Beach Club so you can relax on their hammocks and sun loungers. You'll also have a delicious lunch consisting of fish, chicken or pasta accompanied by coconut rice, salad and fried plantain included.

It'll then be time to pick you up from the beach club and take you back to the dock in Bocachica. At 3 pm, we'll board the boat back to La Bodeguita Pier. We'll say our goodbyes at 3:30 pm once we've returned to Cartagena de Indias.

VIP Tour

If you'd like, you can book the VIP tour option. In this case, we'll do the same activities described in the section above. However, you'll also be given a welcome cocktail and a surprise starter dish upon your arrival at the beach club. In addition, your lunch will include a drink.

Your VIP admission to the beach club also features a relaxing massage. This massage will last around 10 minutes and allow you to completely relax your body and mind.
