On this day trip to Mangue Seco from Aracaju, we'll discover a beautiful fishing village surrounded by dunes and coconut trees, which was also the scene of a famous soap opera.
Day Trip Details
We'll leave at 7 am from your hotel in Aracaju towards Mangue Seco, a beautiful fishing village located between the states of Sergipe and Bahia.
Upon arrival, we'll take a boat ride through Mangue Seco and cruise along the Piauitinga and Real rivers. From the deck, we'll see how these rivers flow through a natural environment full of coconut trees and dunes, the most characteristic landscape of this area of northeastern Brazil.
After the boat ride, we'll head to the dreamy beach of Mangue Seco to go on a buggy tour of this inlet. During the route, you'll admire an idyllic landscape that gained popularity as a result of a 1990s soap opera called Tieta, which in turn is based on a famous book written by Brazilian author Jorge Amado.
In the Mangue Seco inlet, you'll have two hours of free time to take a refreshing swim in the Atlantic and recharge your batteries at one of its beach bars. Of course, you can't leave without taking a photo with the two famous coconut trees called Romeo and Juliet!
From Mangue Seco beach, we'll return to your hotel in Aracaju where we'll arrive at 5:30 pm.
