Discover some of the natural wonders of the state of Rio de Janeiro on this boat trip around the Ilhas Botinas & the beaches of Angra dos Reis.
Ilhas Botinas Boat Trip + Angra dos Reis Beaches
We'll meet at 11 am at Estação de Santa Luzia to begin an exciting tour to discover the beauty of Angra dos Reis.
Once there, we'll board the boat and head towards our first stop, the natural aquarium of the Ilhas Botinas. Here, we'll tell you about its curious name and you can take a refreshing dip in its crystal-clear waters.
Next, we'll head to Praia de Jurubaíba, better known as Praia do Dentista. There we'll enjoy the wonderful surroundings of this fine sandy beach on the island of Gipóia, full of lush vegetation. From the moment we arrive, you'll fall in love with this completely uninhabited beach, a total paradise on earth.
We'll then make our way to Praia da Piedade, a cove with a beautiful strip of white sand bordered by shallow water on either side. On this beach, we can also find the Igreja da Piedade and a group of houses that used to be frequented by celebrities.
Worked up an appetite yet? At our next stop, Praia das Flechas, you'll have an hour to have lunch on your own and walk around. This beach has restaurants and even a deserted area with no buildings. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled - with any luck, you may even see turtles!
After five hours of activity, we'll return to the starting point to finish this boat tour of the Ilhas Botinas and the beaches of Angra dos Reis.
